The ear muffs are sound sealed with a thick padded almost suction like covering that keeps room noise to an absolute minimum. Worked the hell out of those boots and feel I can expect the same from these. Apart from it, theyre awesome and get the job done. I guess I havent run them for 28 hours yet, because Ive just charged the case once. The other hangs on the back of our laundry room door holding cleaning products. I did try them all -- as well as some aftermarket Comfy foam tips -- none of which adequately sealed my ear canal. Particularly fine when it is cold - made for the Canadian winter, to steal that marketing hype. I havent had a sandal like this before, so I cant compare to other styles. The audio is clear but no bass. They are just as pretty as the picture
