I havent needed to do more than vacuum it to keep it clean. Its solid and is easy to put your bikes on. Also I found no matter what piece I had on them, if I bent over to pick something up or moved to much the ear buds would fall out, even with the “sports ear piece” attached. For extra security in fixing my heels, I took advice from another reviewer and created my own stretch spray (2 parts water 1 part rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle).
