For the price, its an excellent microphone, although the stand is a little lackluster. Then I reordered and the one I got was like paper thin and for the price they sell it for it is not worth it. It is way too big on me. No complaints, seems like good value. So I have had several of this form factor earphones from Sony in the past. It also has one of the clearest sounding speakers Ive heard in a portable unit. As it sounds, these headphones are very good. The only two downsides:-The screws supplied were soft and slot easily stripped out. I needed a headset with a mic for gaming and after a fair amount of online research reading reviews (both customer and professional editorial) I decided to go with these for their quality brand and studio like sound reproduction . Latency was noticeable but NOT the worst Ive seen.
