Based on these new findings, it gets a 3/5. That said, they are not totally intolerable if you are willing to make some adjustments and understand where the compromises are. The muffs do not make my ears and head hot, but they are really comfortable. It has a shockingly poor fit leaving gaps which cause its operation to be hindered. The grip is good, but l have yet to use them driving, so that will be the deal breaker. I basically go with the smallest size and they do fit snugly and feel comfortably secured in my ears. Have been coveting a pair of these sandals since I first saw them. The stitching on the side all came undone and split open and the sole wore down in not even a quarter the time my first pair did. I wore them recently for a trip, and at the end of the day found huge blisters around where the straps rubbed the sides of my feet. Still very happy.
