The faux fur is very soft and a pretty color. This is made of plastic and way too flimsy to hold any weight at all. My old double deers were to slippery on steps. I broke my foot years ago and there is still a knot on there. With very light usage and even being very tender with the ear clips, they have both broken. But other than that I love it! Looks beautiful! They do a great job of keeping my ropes and tow lines organized. It took quite a while to get used to the product. Although very comfortable.
