9 inch iPad just fine. luckily i did, give or take a few. They were in mint condition when I got them. now that 2 are bad I will replace else were. Great for outdoors. I no longer trust them to hold my very expensive Oakley sunglasses. Or bite the bullet and pay for something more expensive that will, I hope, arrive in working order. Mounted two mountain bikes and it holds very well. Smaller than oem. In my daughters words “she feels like she’s walking on clouds” I like how she can wear them out since they do have the shoe soles.
