These protect the foot from dirt, offer extreme flexibility, great traction, the material breathes well and they are much safer than flip flops or most sandals as these fit securely to the foot at all time without restricting movement. It is very light and can be easily moved throughout the home. I replaced my Apple Magic Mouse with this when I went to Linux. (I am a costume designer). I do not know if they will hold up as well as Clarks shoes. Its not a bad treble response, its just not what I prefer. Frankly the bolted base part of most toilets is 8-9" wide. The rods themselves seem a little flimsy.
