I modified this to fit a trike for a customer and it worked out great! If you lift less than that, youre probably fine with the normal 14" version that are more elastic. Now that I’ve had this yellow case for a few weeks I can report it is holding up well in my pocket or clipped with included carabiner to both my old iPad case & to zipper pull of an Amazon Basics slip-on case I just got for a new iPad Air (see photo). The bolt holes on my vehicle are farther apart then the holes that are in the brackets which come with the kit. That said, the look is great.
