Width was ok. This is a solid alternative to spending 2-3x more on the OEM crossbars when you are still getting the same weight-rating and a sturdy product! This rooftop cargo bag is amazing! Why wouldnt the manufacturer just fix that. As I had mentioned in my initial review, String Swing makes great gear, and Ive used their stuff for many years. Looks awesome, great value We got the green ones but they were too big. With the pandemic ongoing, our indoor dance classes have been cancelled. No you cant do some work from both sides of the bike rack. Wish me luck on my journey to getting a 4 pack!
