If you find the XM3s tight the extra padding may make it worse untill they flatten with use. Too narrow in the front 13 in these was way too big. I wasnt expecting much but, I finally got around to un-boxing this and hanging it. Just unplugged the older gen card, and swapped in with an adapter (required for Mac Pro 1,1 and 2,1). There is minimal stability. Der Verstellmechanismus rastet sehr sauber. Everything they say about it is true. I turned upside down and fell out of my hammock onto my deck; raced inside to where my cellphone was charging and ringing 911. The width ended up being very comfortable, and the length of it was not too far from what I would consider normal.
